CUSU LGBT+

(Undergraduate)

A Cambridge University Student Union autonomous campaign run by a students within the university. They run a range of social and educational events.

A facebook group with details of CUSU LGBT+ events for graduate students, mature students, post-docs, etc.

(Staff)

The LGBT+ Staff Network provides information and support to staff, assists with the co-ordination of diversity events and helps the University to progress equality. They also organise social events.

Encompass Network

Encompass Network promotes a better quality of life for LGBTQ people in Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas by enabling networking and capacity building for the LGBTQ voluntary and community sector.

Cambridge LGBTQ on Meetup

The purpose of this group is to create an easy-going climate, where people can make new friends and form a local community and pursue social activities together. Working through Meetup this allows the scheduling of events to be as frequent as the group would wish them to be without any central organisation requirements.

Pink Festival

Pink Festival Group is a charity based in Cambridge whose aim is to celebrate the diversity of the community through the arts, whilst making a profit to feed back into the LGBT+ charitable sector locally. We aim to raise awareness of issues faced by LGBT+ people, foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds and, as a result, help combat discrimination and other negative social attitudes towards LGBT+ people.
