Welcome

The Queer Times conference is an online celebration of research linked to the lgbtQ+@cam initiative which began in 2018. Taking place across four panels in the first week of term, featuring the work of more than a dozen Cambridge academics and affiliated and researchers, we will offer an occasion to reflect on both the content of our work – our concepts, methodologies and empirical contributions – and our distinctive style of practice. What difference does an lgbtq+ perspective make to the work we do – in our classrooms and our departments, in our disciplines and our faculties, and in our own work as individual writers, artists and creative thinkers?

Queer Times will include an opening panel and keynote on Monday, April 26th from 4 - 6pm, followed by three panels on the 27th - 29th from 4 to 5.30pm.  The afterparty is from 5.30 - 6.30pm following the final panel on the 29th.

This conference is open to everyone from any background, affiliated with the University of Cambridge or not.  It is also free to attend.

Registration is open

Registration will be individually for each session, which you will be able to do from here once the full programme of events is live.  It will be hosted on Eventbrite.  Do not adjust your set!
